Wheelie Green Gardening started with Clive Goodger and a lawnmower — and has grown into a small, dedicated crew bringing eco-friendly gardening to Wellington’s northern suburbs.
Clive launched the business after answering a local Facebook post. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something bigger — and greener. Clive invested in a cargo bike and trailer, hauling up to 100kg of gear across the city by pedal power.
“I thought, maybe I should work smarter,” says Clive. “The eBike was the best option — now I can stay fit and do twice the work.”
Clive now leads a small team, all sharing the same down-to-earth, sustainable approach to gardening.
Wheelie Green has also invested in an electric van and has a ute and trailers available for those bigger gardening jobs.
